ESSENTIALS
Towels – There are hand towels for the basins but we do not provide towels for your shower.
BEDDING – We provide bedding for the beds (inc. four pillows) but if you will be using the futons in the yurts or daybeds in the cabin, please bring your own bedding for them. A sleeping bag and pillow per person is ideal.
TORCHES – For getting between your yurt and the loos at night, or walking home from the pub.
STURDY FOOTWEAR – Wellies or walking boots recommended.
Waterproofs and warm clothing – We wish we could guarantee you unending sunshine but just in case!
Reusable water bottles – All water on site comes from our very own fresh-water spring and is UV-treated to ensure that it is safe for drinking – delicious spring water on tap!
nice to haves
SLIPPERS – Outdoor shoes are not allowed inside the yurts or cabin so these will keep you extra cosy in the evenings.
Binoculars – So you can spy some of our wonderful birdlife and maybe the odd badger, deer or fox.
Insect repellent – Midges aren’t a problem here but you may want to ward off the odd mosquito during the summer months.
N.B. If you are staying in the Treetop Cabin, please pack lightly and wear sensible shoes as it’s a 5-minute uphill walk from the woodland kitchen. The path is also narrow so you may prefer to bring a rucksack.
