COURSE DETAILS
We are exceptionally lucky to have an enormous variety of bird species here at Redwood Valley. This is because of the range of habitats – ancient woodland, stream and meadow – and our nature-sensitive management of the site.
Join us during nesting season when birds are at their most active and the woods are carpeted with bluebells. This two night break includes two guided bird walks (each of about two hours in length) and yurt or cabin accommodation. Walks are pitched at beginners but enthusiasts are also welcome.
By the end of the stay you should be able to identify a range of woodland and garden birds and may have spotted some of our rarer visitors such as pied and spotted flycatchers, redstarts, dippers and long eared owls. Between walks there will plenty of time to explore the area on your own or simply put your feet up and relax in our luxurious yurts or Treetop Cabin.
COURSE DATES
Courses run from mid-April to mid-June. Bespoke courses also available. Please enquire here.
